The Heavy Soul

The Heavy Soul is a free-spirited rock and blues band born in North London, channeling raw emotion, grit, and groove into every note. Formed by Trevor Pearson (vocals, acoustic guitar) and Neil McCallen (electric and acoustic guitar), the duo built their sound around an unfiltered love for the golden eras of rock 'n' roll and soul.

Blending the swagger of classic rock with the heart of deep blues, The Heavy Soul carve out a sound that feels both timeless and urgent. Their music swings between tender acoustic storytelling and electric energy — each song driven by Trevor's soulful voice and Neil's expressive guitar work.

The band recently completed their debut EP, an eclectic mix of rock, blues, and heavy soul, soon to be officially released under Signal! Flare! SOS Records. As they continue recording their first full-length LP, The Heavy Soul stay true to their mission: to make music that hits the heart as hard as it moves the feet — honest, human, and unapologetically soulful.
